We spent much of our free time in December 2005 clearing the household rubbish and land as best we could. Fed up with the sheer amount of cactus, we arranged for Pepe to bring a digger and clear as much of the spiky barrier from the garden as possible. The inaccessible areas would have to be finished by hand.

At first light on the 15th December 2005 our job was to help bring part of the front wall down, so that the digger and truck could access our land.
