This week has seen cold winds and rain showers, you can see the clouds in the photos and the anoraks are on.  The week started with work being concentrated on bedroom upstairs, after we had picked off the render, Jenny and Norm had to pick round each stone so the wall can be washed and prepared for repair and the top coat.  Encouraged by Mum I stood very precariously on the top of the scaffold upstairs in heels and work clothes to take the photos of the garden, courtyard and surrounding views from the roof of the house.  The team of stone masons – Geronimo, Barbara and Milko have a routine with Geronimo in charge, Milko being the labourer and Barbara mixing the cement as required.  Norm has joined the team and helps out where he can, with the fetching and carrying whilst Jenny keeps working on chipping off.
