July and August were extremely hot and we took comfort in being able to take weekends and not having to toil with manual labour at the house, hence there aren’t any updates or photos for this time. Mum and Norm arrived back on the island in August and started to chase everyone to get back to work on their house. Jerome came on site to build a block wall to divide the two bathrooms and Norm and Jenny spent their time digging up the floor for plumbing. As we had done they had to go to see Herman at the Ayuntamiento to get their sewage connection and try and pin down Carmelo for their bathroom quotes. Domingo dropped off more wood for the cuatro aguas roof on the first floor bedroom that had to be treated before fitting.
