Work has moved to the downstairs room, this is going to be a temporary lounge area whilst work continues on the rest of the house but will eventually be a dressing and private room for Jenny and Norm.  The walls were mostly sound with the exception of the dividing wall into the bathroom, from the materials used it could be seen that originally this was just an arch way and had been filled later to put a cupboard in and doorway. The wall was not strong here and needed some careful attention to strengthen it – at one stage there were two doorways where the cupboard was removed and rebuilt.  We started work on clearing the camel sheds as the team are going to work on the main walls for 5 weeks once this section is finished.  Josh uncovered an old beam which we placed in the garden as a seat and have planned to grow a herb garden behind it.
